Key Points of Colorado Amendment 37 Initiative

- Utility rebate: Up to a total of $4.50 per watt up to 100kW
- Net metering (allows you to sell electricity back to Xcel)
- Federal Tax credits: 30% up to $3,000

Federal Tax Incentives

The tax credits are for 30% of the cost of the system. For individuals (homeowners) the maximum credit is $3,000 for photovoltaic systems.

The system must provide electricity for the residence, and must meet applicable fire and electrical code requirement.

This means you can save up to 70% of the total cost of a system! Finally making Solar Energy a smart financial decision, as well as an environmental one.
